Q: Is someone on the premises at night?
Although no staff member is on the premises at night, we do have an
alarm system and sprinklers throughout the facility in case of emergency.
Contrary to some thoughts that dogs need to be checked on throughout the night, dogs do
better if their rest is not interrupted. Our staff tucks our guests in at night for a
good night sleep so that they are energized and ready for a fun filled day at the resort!
Q: Can you give my dog medications?
We do administer medications for a fee. We require that all medications
be in their original labeled container.
Q: Can I bring in my own bedding?
We happily supply all of our guests with thick, fluffy lambskin
mats to sleep on. For sanitary and pest control concerns, we do not allow
bedding from home to be brought in. For those pets that need “a little more”
to sleep on, we do offer bed rentals for a nominal charge.
Q: What kind of food do you supply?
We provide Iams© Minichunks for our canine guests. This is a
chicken and rice based food that is very mild on tummies.
We also serve Iams© to our feline guests. We do accept personal food;
however, we require that all personal food be prepackaged per meal.
Q: Can I pick up and/or drop off on Sundays or after hours?
We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm. We are also open Saturdays
and Sundays from 9:00am to 12:00pm. We are closed on all major holidays.
For the safety and security of our guests and our staff,
we do not accept or release any pets after hours.
Q: Do I need to make a reservation?
We do ask that you make a reservation in advance for
your pets boarding stay. Like all resorts, reservations
give us the opportunity to staff accordingly and to
make sure that there is availability in the boarding area of your choice.
Although we do try to accommodate all guests year round,
there are certain “seasons” that reservations need to be
made well in advance. Keep in mind, whenever children
are out of school, we are busy! Spring Break, summertime
(Memorial Day through Labor Day), Thanksgiving, and
Christmas are examples of when to book your reservations in advance.
Q: What vaccinations are required?
Our canine guest need to show proof of current Rabies, DHLPP,
and Bordatella (vaccine for canine cough).
Our feline guests need to show proof of current Rabies, FVRCP,
and Leukemia. While we understand that many cats are indoors
and may not routinely need the Rabies vaccine, we do require the vaccine for boarding.
Q: Will my dog be in contact with any other dogs?
Dogs are never boarded together unless they are in the same family and it is
requested. All dogs are exercised outside individually everyday. For the social
dog, however, we do offer group playtime and pool parties, where dogs can enjoy the company of other
dogs while they swim and play! For any group activity there
is an extensive temperament test that each pet must past. Just
ask an associate for details!
Q: Can my dogs stay in the same run?
Any dogs that are family may stay together…no problem!
In the event of a “sibling squabble”, we would separate your dogs for their safety.
Q: Why do you take my dogs’ collar off?
We remove all collars for safety purposes. Each pet receives
a card on their run for identification and all care instructions.
Q: How many times does my dog get outside?
All boarding rates include two times out into our outdoor
misted exercise pens. We offer several activities, including individual
and group playtime that can be purchased to enhance your pets resort experience.
Q: Does my cat ever get out of its condo?
All cats get the chance to stretch and play individually
in the cat room once per day. For our feline guests we offer
one on one Pet-n-Purr time for a small fee.
Q: Do you have daycare?
We do offer daycare at both of our resorts.
All of our daycare boarders enjoy the same amenities as our overnight boarders.
Q: Do you do grooming?
While we do not offer full grooming at either location, upon request we can
certainly give your pet a bath prior to departure from their boarding stay.
Q: What kind of cooling system do you have?
We use evaporative cooling to create a comfortable environment for our guests.
Q: Can my dog and cat stay together?
For the safety and comfort of our guests, all of our feline
and canine boarding areas are separate.
Q: Can I come in for a tour?
Definitely! We recommend that you stop by and take a look.
Our caring staff would love to show you around anytime during
our office hours. You never need an appointment to tour our facilities.
Q: Do you board anything other than dogs and cats?
We do have a critter room at each resort. We offer
boarding to birds, bunnies, turtles, guinea pigs, ferrets, etc… For our critter guests
we just ask that they come with their own cage and food. We will take care of the rest!
Q: Do you offer pick up or delivery service?
We do offer pick up and delivery service for a fee.
Please call or Email with any inquiries.
Q: Do my pets need to be spayed or neutered?
We do not require that a pet be spayed or neutered
for boarding. We do, however, require that all dogs over
the age of six months be spayed or neutered in order to participate in any group activity.
Q: Does my dog have to get a flea & tick treatment?
We do administer Biospot©, a topical flea & tick treatment,
to all dogs upon arrival. This treatment is effective for 45
days and would not need to be re-applied if your dog was
returning within that time. We do make exceptions if can
you can show a receipt that your dog is being treated by
your vet, if your dog is a puppy under four months, or
has health problems. Please call or
Email if you have any questions regarding your pet.
Q: Do you have group playtime?
We do offer group playtime and group pool parties.
Q: Do you have a veterinarian on the premises?
While we do not have a veterinarian on the premises,
we do have a
Vet on-call that is available to us if your personal veterinarian is not.
Q: Can I have someone else pick up my pet?
You may have someone pick up your pet as long as
they are on file with us and payment arrangements have been made.
Q: May I go into the pool with my dog?
Because of insurance liabilities, we cannot allow non-staff to enter the pool.
Q: Can I call to check up on my pets?
You are welcome to call anytime during our office hours to check on your pets.
Q: Can anyone visit / take my dog out during the day while boarding with you?
Your dog may have visitors and leave for the day while boarding with
us once we have your permission and pre-payment arrangements.
We will just need to have the visitors name on file.
